I have been away from my blogging for way too long now. I have excuses but now it is time to catch up on what I have been up to this year, beginning with a new type of shoot for me, a proposal!
Michael contacted me and said that he wanted to propose to Kelsey whilst they were away with family and staying in his mother’s ancestral home, Dunvegan Castle. He travelled all the way from Texas with the plan, and the ring and a whole lot of worries about whether someone might give the game away! I arranged a bouquet of native flowers from Simply Flowers in Broadford at very short notice, brought along some prosecco and glasses and hid amongst the trees down on the shore, with the castle in the back ground. I also brought along photographer Rosie, to make sure I didn’t miss anything and we were sure to get THE moment between us as we were hiding quite a long way off.
Michael brought Kelsey out for a walk in the castle grounds on the premise he wanted to take some photographs of her, and where I had left the flowers he dropped to one knee… of course she said yes!
